Winter wedding season is here & we are getting to see the fab looks of the bride & groom ruling the internet. We were left awestruck, the moment we came across with Karishma’s refreshing Haldi looks. Besides Haldi, this beauty looked as pretty as picture on her wedding day too. She ditched the traditional red for radiant orange-colored floral lehenga & everyone’s favorite makeup artist facestoriesbyleenabhushan just gave her most gorgeous bridal looks.

Scroll down to check out this Chandigarh wedding with a bride in beautiful wedding outfits.

Meet Bride & Groom

How we met:

“I happen to be an advocate, but being a makeup artist is what I am really passionate about. I and my husband, who happens to be an advocate himself, met at our workplace at The High courts! He eventually asked my family for my hand in marriage and I had my ‘ Happily Ever After ‘.”- says the bride.

Wedding Function

The wedding ceremonies were a 5-day affair. Our wedding rituals started by seeking God’s blessings. The first ceremony was the Sukhmani Sahib Path followed by Mata ki chowki to haldi to mehendi then sangeet and finally the wedding. All functions were fun-filled with love and blessing from friends and family!

The theme for the haldi and mehendi was Indian traditional decor with hanging tassels and umbrellas in hues of pink and peach accompanied by Calcutta Genda floral arrangement at home sweet home. And the wedding venue was Palms in Zirakpur again with heavy floral arrangements and play of lights.

Wedding Looks

I had different looks in my mind and was very particular about what I wanted to wear on each occasion. But I wasn’t very fussy about it all. I enjoyed my shopping with my friends and did it all hassle-free😊 My all-time favorite designer is Shyamal Bhumika and if not each, then at least a few outfits were inspired by his designs! I went all-in with mirror work for my sangeet and floral for my haldi and sported a comfy off-shoulder for my mehendi. Above all, my absolute favorite has to be my wedding outfit! For which I was inspired by Deepika Padukone’s floral lehnga but unlike her’s mine was in muted pastel tones.

Best Moments From Wedding

The most beautiful part of my wedding had to be my ‘pheras’ which were in the evening set against a beautiful sun setting in dark blue skies! The gorgeous vedi decor added to the charm!

Advice From The Bride

My honest advice to all the brides-to-be will be to stay calm as you cannot avoid the last-minute chaos. And it’s completely okay to go a bit ‘cray-cray’ with the wedding preparations. In addition, just don’t try any new facials or dermalogica treatments a few days prior to the big day! You never know the results!

So, this was one of the royal wedding affairs with the bride & groom in Instagram-worthy outfits. If you too have such a wedding story, then share it with us at wishnwed@gmail.com & get featured.
